• The DRL-V is set in our lab for measuring and analyzing the thermal transport properties of solids based on steady-state heat flux.

• The Xiatech TC3000D is set in our lab and is ready for measuring and analyzing the thermal transport properties of solids.

• Prof. Meijie Chen visited our group and give a talk on the thermal transport in solids.

• Our paper entitled "The exceptionally high thermal conductivity after ‘alloying’ two-dimensional Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Aluminum Nitride (AlN)" has been accepted by Nanotechnology.
• The annual meeting of E.T. Lab is successfully held.
• Our paper entitled "Measurements and Calculations of Thermal Conductivity for Liquid n-octane and n-decane " has been accepted by Fluid Phase Equilibria.

November

• Our paper entitled "Intrinsically low lattice thermal conductivity of monolayer hexagonal aluminum nitride (h-AlN) from first-principles: A comparative study with graphene" has been accepted by the International Journal of Thermal Science.
• Congratulations to Guangzhao Qin and Xiong Zheng for the Third Prize in the micro-teaching drill for new teachers of Hunan University.
• Congratulations to Qiang Chen for the Excellent Paper Award from "The 13th Postgraduate Innovation Forum of Hunan Province-High-Performance Material Design and Synthesis".
• We now have high precision electrical balance, ultrasonic vibrator, air floating optical platform.

• Our paper entitled "Giant effect of spin-lattice coupling on the thermal transport in two-dimensional ferromagnetic CrI₃" has been accepted by Journal of Materials Chemistry C.

January

• Guangzhao Qin is honored the Overseas High-level Hundred Talents Program in Hunan Province with support from the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Design and Manufacturing for Vehicle Body at Hunan University.
• Our paper entitled "Rashba spin splitting and perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of Gd-adsorbed zigzag graphene nanoribbon modulated by edge states under external electric fields" has been accepted by Phys. Rev. B.

• Welcome Dr. Xiong Zheng joins the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Hunan University, China as Associate Professor, who will work with us as a team for a better future.

• The E.T. Cluster @LoC is built in our lab on Nov. 26, which is assigned a static IP address accessible from all over the world.
• Our paper entitled "Quasi-bonding driven abnormal isotropic thermal transport in intrinsically anisotropic nanostructure: A study case of phosphorus nanotube array" is accepted by Nanotechnology.

• We are authorized to access the National Supercomputing Center in Changsha.
• The Energy Transport Laboratory @League of Computations (E.T. Lab @LoC) is officially founded.
• Dr. Guangzhao Qin joins the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Hunan University, China as Professor (Yue Lu scholar) on Sep. 16.
